Hi, I’m Michele!

I’m a professional hairstylist based here in Calgary, Alberta. 

I’m constantly inspired by the ever-changing and evolving world of hairstyling. Not only do I love taking an idea and making it into a reality, but I also enjoy the conversation and connection with my clients. No two days are ever alike and that makes it so much fun! 

I grew up in Neepawa, Manitoba, which for those of you who don’t know, has a population of about the size of a Calgary high school! I now have a great appreciation for being raised in a small town, but I also quite enjoy being a small fish in a big pond. 

After years of styling my girlfriends’ hair for the school dances, I decided I should level up and make this weekend gig a career! In 2004, I launched my hair career in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and 16 years later – I can’t imagine doing anything else. I lived in Manitoba until 14 years ago when I decided to follow my dreams and move to the big city of Calgary! All this time later and it still really feels like home.

My husband of 11 years and I met here in the city and are lucky enough to be raising our two kids so close to the mountains. We love to travel and show them other parts of the world. When I’m not “adulting” you may find me out with the girls, sweating it out at boot camp, spending time out at my parents’ acreage, or having a glass of wine, or two! 

I’ve had the privilege of traveling to the Big Apple, NYC, on five separate occasions for cutting, styling, and advanced coloring classes at the prestigious Bumble and Bumble University. These classes were career changing for me and I have continued to use these skills daily in my profession. 

I’m really looking forward to fresh inspiration in my new space. I can’t wait to show it to you all and make your hair goals come true!
